In the early 1990s, my father owned a 1 Hour Photo Shop right next to a Little Caesars. Every day, my father would take his lunch time off to pick my brother, my best friend, and I up from elementary school so we could hang in his shop.  It was always so fun hanging at his shop.  There were so many analog cameras on display in the windowed shelves and every time a customer would come in he would separate their camera, film, and batteries.  Each had their own compartment, the cameras went into the trash, film went inside a 5x7 envelope with written text on it, and batteries in a big box filled with other used batteries.  Sometimes, my dad would ask me to help him at the cashier, so I could learn how to count money.  One thing I remember growing up was asking my father why we had so many batteries, he told me "People don't know, but these batteries are still good even when they're done with their disposable cameras." Who knew!  Since I could remember, photography has been a part of my life growing up and even now as an adult.  This memory will always stay with me because it was honestly the best time during my childhood.
Creating has always been a part of my life and it hasn't stopped with just Photography. I love to learn and create to give back to people, so they can see the beauty in things that I see.
